REPORT: Exploring and improving BME policing experiences

RJN Coordinator Policing • Terrorism

A report commissioned by the Nottonghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner, to investigate the BME experiences of policing.

The report had a major focus on stop and search and recommended that the recording of “Stop and Accounts” be reintroduced to ascertain the true extent of police-public encounters.

The report was published in July 2013 and can be found here: http://www.nottinghamshire.pcc.police.uk/Document-Library/Public-Information/Scrutiny-Findings/BME-Final-Report-for-Website.pdf
