Racism and discrimination in employment in Europe

In March 2013, the European Network Against Racism (ENAR) published a European and 23 country-specific Shadow Reports, including a report on the UK, on racism and discrimination in employment in Europe.

One of the key findings is that ‘the economic and financial crisis, and the lack of social investment, have worsened the employment gap between migrants, ethnic and religious minorities and the majority population’.
